Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s historical multi-million dollar mansion in New Orleans went up in flames on Wednesday night.
The couple’s $2.4 million Spanish baroque mansion is a three-story building located in the Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Officers initially responded to the scene following a call about a suspicious person and when they got there they discovered the property had been set on fire.
It reportedly took 22 firefighters two hours to extinguish the flames, and things could have been much worse if it hadn’t been for their quick response.
The fire is now under investigation as arson.
Officials are still trying to establish how the blaze started and the extent of the damage caused.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection to the incident.
